Church Camp
From 19:30 to 12:30Please note that registration for the church camp is closed. We are very much looking forward to our IBCZ Church Weekend starting Friday evening 01 November 2019 with dinner at 7.30 pm (arrival time: anytime before 7.30 pm). We want to spend time together as a church family to get to know each other better and explore the idea of ‘serving’ in our Christian lives: What scripture says about it. What it can mean for us as a church. How we can bless others through our service. And also, how we ourselves can be blessed by serving others. – The apostle Peter wrote in 1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” – So let’s see what we can do within and outside of the church with the many different gifts the Lord has given to us! Of course we will also spend lots of time together in prayer, over meals, in song, conversations and activities. And of course we’ve not forgotten to allow for enough space for ‘free time’ during which you can explore the surrounding area of the hotel. What you might need: – outdoor clothes, depending on weather (there are nice areas in the surroundings, and we are planning a night walk in the evening as well) – flashlights, pocket lamps, lanterns for the kids (for the night walk) – football, badminton, table tennis rackets and ball – board games / card games for Saturday evening Note: Should you still need a ride to and from the hotel – OR should you still have space left in your car to take someone – please contact Catherine. fuerboeck@yahoo.de Best regards, Bob, Daniela, Oliver, Jessie, Joachim and Catherine
