The groups are divided according to the Swiss school system, which allows our children to learn together in age-appropriate ways. Children will remain in their classes during the school year (August – June). Time in the groups: during Sunday service approximately one hour from 11AM to 12PM.
These classes are small in size enabling us to provide a safe and stimulating environment for our children. Our teachers use interactive teaching methods to reinforce teachings from the Bible. All instruction is in English, but teachers often also speak other languages as well, especially German.
In Fall 2017, Explore the Bible: Kids takes our kids through the books of Genesis, Acts, and 1 Samuel. The Book of Genesis highlights the beginnings of the world and shows God as creator, rescuer, and leader of people. The Book of Acts highlights the beginnings of the church and relates stories of Pentecost, the churches mandate to help others, and the spread of the gospel from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. The Book of 1 Samuel shares God’s desire to be the leader of Israel, however, the people choose to ask for a king to be their leader instead. God gives the people what they want, however it doesn’t turn out the way the people hoped.
